This post is dedicated to all young mother's to know the value of breast feeding.
Last week, I met a young mother in the hospital when we went for Tina's vaccination. We both were waiting to meet the same paediatrician for almost 2 hours. I was surprised to see the young mother bottle feeding her cute little child. I asked her why she is not breast feeding her baby and i was shocked by her answer. She said that she will lose her beauty if she feeds the baby. Moreover she is not interested in breast feeding and she never tried for one. I explained her the importance of mother feed and told her that its the best thing that she can give her baby for a healthy start in life.
This incident is the sole reason for this post about mother feed... I believe after reading this post you will understand the real benefits of breast feeding. If you are planning for a baby though you are not really interested in breast feeding, i am sure you will change your mind to feed your baby because its the best thing a MOM can give her child for a healthy life.
Mother feed is a gift given by God for both the mother and the infant. It is the best nutrition rich diet for the infant and it is easily digestive.
Have you ever seen a baby going crazy behind her mom for breast feed. It's not just because of the taste of the milk rather its the comfort feel that makes the baby to feel her mother's love, care and affection. Moreover babies love breast feeding as it creates a secure and safe feeling for them. If a baby is constantly crying because of restless disturbed sleep then breast feeding is the only choice for the mom to calm down her baby to sleep peacefully.
Being a mother it is very essential for you to know the importance of breast feeding.
It is the best balanced nutrition rich food for your baby. Breast milk has the right proportions of nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, fats and so on that provides the required growth and development for your baby.
It is easily digestive. It creates a healthy digestive system for your baby and reduces the risk of diarrhoea and other digestion problems. It sets up a good digestive system for your baby.
It improves the immune system of your baby and provides good immunity strength.
It is the best food for free of cost. Other Infant foods are highly expensive.
It creates a lovable, comfortable, trustable secured atmosphere for your baby.
It helps you to retain your physical figure as it burns more calories when you breast feed your baby.
It helps in the contraction of your uterus to pre-pregnancy size as it stimulates the production of hormone called oxytocin.
It is also medically proven that chances of breast cancer are very less for breast feeding mother's.
Above all it creates an everlasting intimate soul bond between you and your little one.
While breast feeding ensure that you drink lots of water to keep up good milk supply. It's really a good idea to have a bottle of water nearby when you are breastfeeding. While you are feeding, your body releases the hormone oxytocin, and it makes you feel thirsty. Apart from water, milk and fruit juices also helps to serve the purpose. The best is to have at least one glass of water every time you feed your baby as well as in between when you feel thirsty.
To check whether you're taking enough quantity to drink, keep an eye on the colour of your urine. If it is pale-coloured, it means you are taking good quantity of water. If your urine is dark yellow or if it smells strongly, it may mean that you are dehydrated, so you need to drink more of water.
My mother gave breast feeding for all the three children until we were 3 years old. My mother is now 51 years old, with sound mind and speaking beauty. She still looks younger as if she is just 35 years old. So breast feed will not spoil your beauty rather it helps you to live a healthy long life.
Its very important to feed your child at least for first 6 months before starting any solid food. So never hesitate to breast feed your baby. Breast feed your baby and gift the best healthy start for your little ones life.
Coming soon with another interesting post. Till then Happy Blogging.
Cheers,
Priya Arun.
